New Haven Man Killed by Stray Bullet on his Birthday

A 58-year-old man is dead after a stray bullet struck him while he was inside his New Haven home, according to police.Police first received a 911 call at 1:50 a.m. to report gunfire on Valley St. and Strong St. Moments later, a woman called saying that her husband had been shot.
