Last month, Martin was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer. Zimmerman had told police it was in self-defense?but Martin was unarmed.Stacy Spell is a retired homicide detective?and leads the West River Neighborhood Services Corporation in New Haven.
