Occupy New Haven Gets Extension

Occupy New Haven has been protesting on the New Haven Green since mid-October but five months into the movement, the city says it wants Occupiers out.The city asked Occupy to move out by mid-March and the camp responded with a lawsuit.Attorneys for Occupy argued in federal court that the protest is covered under the First Amendment and that the city has no right to kick Occupiers out of what is considered a public forum.
