Waterford Mom Recalls Terrifying Moments When 14-Month-Old Son Fell Down Air Duct

Waterford mother Kristie Mendes spoke to NBC Connecticut about the terrifying ordeal she went through Tuesday when her 14-month-old son Elijah fell down an air duct in their home. Firefighters rescued Elijah, who had fallen 12 feet down, and despite having quite the scare, the little boy walked away with only scrapes and bruises.
