YWCA Receives NBC Connecticut 21st Century Solutions Grant

NBC Connecticut has awarded $100,000 to local non-profits as part of the 21st Century Solutions Grant Challenge. One of the runners-up is the YWCA in Hartford. They recently launched a new program to mentor women pursuing associate degrees in the healthcare field. NBC Connecticut’s Ryan Hanrahan introduces us to one woman who’s part of the program.
