Thursday got off to a chilly start with temperatures across the state in the 20s and 30s before warming into the 50s.
But we will have even colder temps Thursday night and into Friday morning.
A freeze warning has been issued for most of Connecticut, except for the immediate shoreline in Fairfield and New Haven counties. There is a frost advisory issued for those areas.

After we get through the cold Friday morning, there will be a warming trend going forward with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s by the weekend.
