Parts of state get up to 2 inches of snow on first full day of spring

Rain and snow showers, along with gusty wind, moved through the state Wednesday evening.

The day featured high in the 50s. At times, there were scattered showers, downpours and some rumbles of thunder.

Parts of the state even saw snow. The hills saw up to two inches of accumulation. Winds gust to about 30 mph.

Thursday looks brisk and bright. The "feels-like" temperatures will be in the upper 20s. Winds will gust between 30 and 30 mph.

Friday looks bright and fair with highs in the mid 40s.

The start of the weekend looks wet with rain that may be heavy at times. Temperatures will be around 47 degrees.
