Even with the clouds today portions of inland CT were able to warm into the low 70s while the shoreline stayed in the mid to upper 50s!

The best chance for some rain and a rumble of thunder tonight is for western CT. Showers and thunderstorms will weaken as they move from the west, but most of us should see some rain as we move into the overnight.

Temps tonight will fall to about 50 degrees by tomorrow morning.

Drier weather sticks around for the rest of the work week with the 70s continuing through Friday.

This weekend will be "cool" (near normal for early May) with temperatures returning to the 60s. High pressure in the Atlantic brings in a breeze from the east - aka over the cool waters of the ocean.
