Lisa Carberg is special projects reporter for NBC Connecticut's "Be Healthy" series. You can catch her stories on NBC Connecticut News at 5 p.m and 5:30 p.m.
She first joined the NBC Connecticut team in 1995 as the weekend anchor at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. After four successful years, Lisa hit the national stage with Fox News Channel in New York, where she worked as a news anchor and daytime host. She returned to NBC Connecticut in 2002, where she served as the weekend anchor and consumer reporter.
Lisa began her broadcast journalism career as a reporter and photographer at WJKA in Wilmington, North Carolina. She went on to join WSAV in Savannah, Georgia, where she served as the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. anchor.
Lisa grew up on the Connecticut shoreline. She graduated from Old Saybrook High School, then earned a degree in jurounalism from Suffolk University in Boston.
She came back to Connecticut to get married and live a small-town life in her home state with her family. Lisa enjoys gardening, boating and skiing.
