Todd Piro can be seen weekday mornings beginning at 4:30 a.m. as the co-host of NBC Connecticut Today.

He is excited to return to New England after four years as a morning anchor in Palm Springs, Calif. at the CBS affiliate there.

Prior to making TV news his career, Todd practiced law for five years at a prestigious Wall Street law firm.

In college, Todd was news director and anchor at WDCR/WFRD Radio in Hanover, New Hampshire. While there, he also performed play-by-play duties for numerous sports, including hockey and lacrosse. Todd interned at WABC-TV, Good Morning America, and Fox News Channel, all in New York, as well as WNNE-TV 31 in White River Junction, Vt.

John McCain, Martha Stewart, Sheryl Crow, Sam Donaldson and Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack, as well as famous chefs, doctors, comedians and performers.

Todd loves to be active in whatever community he lives in, from hosting events to reading in schools to community service. He is particularly active in animal, missing persons, Alzheimer’s, and elderly charities.
