Todd Piro is a reporter and weekend morning anchor for NBC Connecticut.
He loves Connecticut and New England’s changing seasons. He enjoys covering politics and reporting on heartwarming events like family reunions at sailor homecomings at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton.
Before calling Connecticut home, Todd was a morning anchor in Palm Springs, California. Prior to his broadcast news career, Todd practiced law in Los Angeles.
He graduated from Dartmouth College and UCLA Law School.
Todd is very active in the community, from emceeing numerous charity events to volunteering at NBC Connecticut station initiatives. He is a board member for Amy’s Angels and Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford and enjoys reading to children in schools across the state.
When he’s not reporting, Todd enjoys sports and spending time with his wife and family.
