The New Canaan police department is warning residents to secure their vehicles after an increase in daytime vehicle burglaries.
Police tweeted Friday that they’ve seen a rise in vehicle break-ins. The incidents have occurred in municipal lots, parks and other large parking areas.
Residents are reminded to remove valuables from cars and report anything suspicious to police at (203) 594-3500.
