Route 9 in Middletown has reopened following a multi-vehicle car accident, according to the CT Department of Transportation.
The DOT reported the southbound side of the highway was closed at exit 15.
The accident was reported at approximately 8:45 p.m. and was cleared about a half hour later.
It is unknown if there are any injuries at this time or how many cars were involved in the crash.
