A man from Enfield has died after a crash on Route 2 in Glastonbury on Saturday morning.
Investigators believe 38-year-old Gregory Lamourine Jr. was driving on Route 2 east prior to exit 12 when he lost control shortly before 7 a.m.
According to police, Lamourine's vehicle veered into the left shoulder and hit the metal beam guardrail before going across the roadway and hitting trees on the right shoulder.
Authorities said Lamourine was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
