A West Haven man and woman are facing prostitution charges after Bridgeport police found them in a car with fogged-up windows on Sunday.
According to police, 47-year-old Darrell Baskin and 43-year-old Maria Rosa Franco were parked behind a business on Benham Avenue in Bridgeport on Sunday evening.
They initially said they had known each other for months, but couldn’t tell officers each other’s names.
Baskin eventually told police he had picked up Franco on Washington Avenue to have a $20 sexual encounter.
Franco was charged with prostitution and Baskin was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
