A 33-year-old Meriden man is accused of trying to meet young girls online for sex.

State police arrested Bradley C. Foster, of 80 Hanover St., in Meriden, after an undercover online investigation.

Police said Foster was using a computer to set up meetings for sex with a girl and admitted to his intended abuse of a minor, police said.

Police obtained a search warrant, searched Foster’s residence and seized electronic evidence that they will examine to determine if there are other potential victims.

Foster was charged with criminal attempt at sexual assault in the second degree, criminal attempt at impairing the morals of a minor and criminal attempt at enticement of a minor.

Foster is being held on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Superior Court GA#7 on Friday.
