Torrington police are searching for a suspect accused of attacking a store manager during a shoplifting incident.
It happened shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday. Police said the suspect pictured above entered the Famous Footwear on East Main Street and took a pair of sneakers. When the store manager confronted him, the suspect struck the manager in the head.
The victim was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
According to police, the suspect left in a light-colored vehicle.
