Police Investigate Robbery at a Dunkin Donuts in Seymour



    After placing his order for a coffee at Dunkin Donuts, a man pulled out a knife and grabbed money out of the register Friday night.

    Seymour Police received a call from employees at the Roosevelt Dr. Dunkin Donuts shortly after 7:30 p.m.  Friday night

    Employees told police that a man had entered the Dunkin Donuts and ordered a coffee. While he was being served, he pulled out a knife and demanded money.

    The man reached over the counter and grabbed an undetermined amount of money and fled from the store on foot.

    The suspect is described as a white male approximately six feet tall, wearing blue jeans, a white sneaker type shoes and a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word Nike across the front.

    The suspect is believed to be in his mid- thirties with light facial hair in the form of a goatee.

    Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance tapes and actively investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Seymour Police at 203-881-7600.
