    Donald Scott was arrested in West Haven.

    Police arrested a teenager accused of stealing a car and leading police on a chase that ended in West Haven.

    Around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, West Haven police officers who were on patrol recognized a car that was reported stolen days earlier and signaled the driver to pull over.

    Instead, he fled on Interstate 95, police said.

    Officers stopped the car near exit 39 and arrested the Donald Scott, 18, of West Haven, police said.

    Scott, who was alone in the car, was charged with engaging officers in a pursuit, larceny and several motor vehicle charges.

    He was held at the West Haven Police Department on $10,000 bond.
