Cops say they found thousands of images of porn on a Plainville man's computer.

Police say they have found thousands of porn images on the computer of a 48-year-old Plainville man who was accused of sexually assaulting a girl and risk of injury to a minor in August.

Cops served Scott Hauser a warrant on Friday, the Hartford Courant reports.

"He had his own personal collection that he obtained from various sources over the Internet," Lt. Brian Mullins told the Courant.

He has been charged with illegal possession of child pornography in the first degree and importing child pornography  and is due in court on Feb. 22 on those charges.

The Courant reports that a relative called police in August after finding porn on Hauser's computer and police found an image of Hauser having explicit sexual contact with a girl who was under 12 years of age.

On Sept. 16, he was charged with more than 40 counts, including employing a minor in obscene performance and illegal sexual contact.
