IS THIS THING ON?: Sure it's a holiday for most today, but that doesn't mean you can't find something to do tonight. Maybe you want to show off your talents, or at least listen to the talents of others. If so, head to The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown for Open Mic Night. The cultural center says it's "anything goes" for tonight's event, from the spoken word to any type of music. Sign-ups begin at 7:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m. It will cost you a donation of $3-$5.
