9/23:  Tequila Dinners and Some "Swanky Panky"

There's much more than fondue tonight at The Blue Pearl in New Haven.

CAN YOU FEELA THE TEQUILA?:  Tonight's your night to enjoy the best that Mexican cuisine has to offer.  Besito in West Hartford is offering a four-course dinner paired with signature Milagro Tequila cocktails.  The food includes dishes like pan-seared halibut, steak with mole sauce and even flan.  And of course, there's the tequila.  It's $69 per person.  8pm.

STRUGGLE FOR IDENTITY:  Works from more than 50 Puerto Rican artists are on display at Eastern Connecticut State University in WillimanticLa Lucha Por La Identidad:  Puerto Rican Artists Struggle for Identity is now showing at ECSU's Akus Gallery.  Celebrate the exhibit tonight with a reception that will feature live music from Carlos "Go Go" Gomez, followed by a gallery reception.  3-7pm. 

FONDUE WITH FLAIR:  It could be the perfect unique date-night.  Head to The Blue Pearl in New Haven for some "Swanky Panky."  Enjoy the fondue lounge atmosphere while enjoying the music selections of DJ E-Bomb (everything from oldies, to soul, grind and R&B).  It's 21 and over.  10pm-1am.
