How to Control Your Devices (So They Don't Control You)

"On Wednesday, October 21st, 2015," Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) tells Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) in "Back to the Future Part II" as he pilots a flying DeLorean into the future.

"2015? That's the future!" gasps Marty McFly.

It's not the future any more, and people who loved "Back to the Future Part II" as kids know it.

Miles Ortmeyer was happy to remember his impression watching the film back in 1989.

"I thought it was exciting. I was always kind of a sci-fi kid so seeing a glimpse into the future was just awesome and now living in it, it's crazy how much they got right," Ortmeyer said.

Some businesses are running promotions. Ford, for example, is offering the flux capacitor as an option, online, for $1.21 million.

There's a lower-priced version available at a local restaurant chain in the form of a libation. All seven Wood-n-Taps are offering $4 Flux Capacitor martinis. The bartender said they taste like Blue Hawaiians.

"It's a concoction of Malibu, blue curaçao, vanilla vodka, and we make it look a little bit "Back to the Future" for you," said bar tender Carolyn Ciarrochi, as she dropped a cube of dry ice into a martini glass.

"Back to the Future Part II"  was big on hover boards, flying skateboards Martine Wiecek remembers well from the movie.

"Yeah that be nice, huh? I don't think, not yet, that's gonna be the future more," she said.
