Danielle Staub Addresses “Housewives” Firing Rumor

Reality bites – or does it?

Danielle Staub weighed-in rumors that she’d been pulled from the next season of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” offering up a vaguely worded statement about “incredible options” on her horizon that could be an allusion to a rumored spin-off reality show.

"Actually, I'm not even thinking about season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me," the reality star said in a statement to UsMagazine.com about the “Housewives” rumors. "Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6."

On Monday, various entertainment news sites reported Staub had been booted from “Housewives,” citing anonymous sources. The singer has been at the center of the drama on Bravo’s Garden State version of the franchise.

Bravo declined comment on the reports, telling E! News and other outlets: “We haven’t announced anything regarding a 3rd season.”

Last week, Staub told NBCNewYork’s Niteside blog ahead of her 48th birthday bash at a strip club in Manhattan that she was involved in creating a spin-off featuring her gal pal Lori Michaels.

“It will definitely be a lot more of her (Michaels) and I, and definitely my kids,” Staub said.

Following the latest rumors, Staub told Us: “Don't worry, next year, I'll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love."
