It may be cold outside, but you can think summer as the Hartford Boat Show cruises into town.
The show, produced by the Connecticut Marine Trades Association, is being held at the Connecticut Convention Center Feb. 9-12.
With more than 150 exhibitors and 250 boats and watercraft, the Hartford Boat show has expanded this year to cover the entire space on two levels of the convention center.
"February is a great time for a boat show. It's a perfect winter activity for boaters who are starting to plan their spring and summer water activities and purchases, and it's truly a family event that everyone at every age can enjoy indoors, CMTA executive director Kathleen Burns said.
There will be special guests, people can test their fishing skills a a virtual fishing tournament and watch paddle board demonstrations.
The show will be open:
- Thurs. Feb. 9 from 3 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Fri. Feb 10 from 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Sat. Feb 11 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Sun. Feb 12 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
