An East Windsor guy might have thought he had the perfect hiding place from cops. Then gravity took over, sending him though the bedroom ceiling and into the arms of waiting police.
Jody Anthony Maura’s family members called police Sunday night, saying he had a knife. Maura ran, but police returned the following morning.
Police said Maura was trying to climb out of the attic to surrender when the ceiling gave way.
Maura was held Tuesday on $110,000 bond and faces assault, burglary and reckless endangerment charges.
