Almost nine years after a lifeguard disappeared from a Massachusetts pond, her family is renewing efforts to find more information.
The family of Molly Anne Bish plans to install a billboard just over the Connecticut border in Palmer, Mass. They are hopeful it will breathe new life into the unsolved case.
The 16-year-old disappeared from her post at a pond in June 2000. Three years later, her remains were found in a nearby wooded area. Police believe she was abducted and murdered.
According to the Telegram & Gazette, Clear Channel Communications will let the family use the billboard for six months, ending on the nine-year anniversary of Bish's disappearance.
Law enforcement have never made an arrest in the case. The investigation continues and a $100,000 reward is still being offered.
