Two people have been taken to Hartford Hospital after a crash in a shopping center parking lot in Newington.
Police are looking into whether this was a medical issue. The driver told police he lost consciousness.
Both people who were taken to the hospital were in the pickup, officials said.
The driver was on Paine Road, went over the median after losing consciousness, drove through some empty parking spaces and struck a commercial van in the lot at Pane Road and Progress Circle.
