A 7-year-old Hartford girl was critically burned after accidentally setting her clothes on fire.
Firefighters were called to 66 Cabot street around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The girl got a hold of a lighter and set her clothes on fire by accident, according to Hartford Fire Capt. Ronald Chance. She suffered third-degree burns on 50 percent of her body, Capt. Chance said.
The victim was rushed to Hartford Hospital, but then airlifted her to the Shriners Hospital Burn Unit in Boston.
