A suspect is in custody, another man is in the hospital after an early morning shooting Sunday in the Rockville section of Vernon.
Shots rang out just before 1 a.m. outside The Olde Rockville Tavern on West Main St., said police. The victim, 27-year-old Richard Daigle of East Hartford suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He was rushed to Hartford Hospital and is expected to survive.
25-year-old Salvatore Ratti of Newington was arrested and faces charges including assault, He's due in court Monday. Ratti admitted to having an argument inside the bar with Daigle, and then shooting him when they went outside.
