Hartford Police are investigating the shooting death of Anthony Holmes, 38, of Hartford.
Holmes was shot in the area of Mather Street and Brook streets in Hartford in broad daylight.
Police responded at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday and found Holmes suffering from several gunshots. He died 22 minutes later at St. Francis Hospital.
Police are looking for information from anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information that could help lead officers to the shooter.
