Interstate 84 east is closed in Waterbury after a crash near construction on the highway.
The accident doesn't appear to be severe, but it's close to construction and there isn't much room to maneuver, so state police had to close the highway as they wait for a wrecker to arrive.
I-84 east is closed between exits 25 and 25A. The crash was reported to the state Department of Transportation at about 10:54 p.m.
it's expected to take four hours or less to clear the crash.
