A man has died after a motorcycle accident in Colchester Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on New London Road, or Route 85, traveling northbound.
The driver, 33-year-old Ricky Ayala, of Colchester, lost control of his motorcycle and entered the grassy area next to the right shoulder, according to police.
The accident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Troop K at (860) 465-5400 ext. 4061.
The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
