A 91-year-old woman has died after a crash in Colchester on Sunday afternoon.
Police say 91-year-old Lucy Hinton of Colchester was traveling southbound on the Route 11 exit 6 off-ramp near the stop sign at the intersection of Lake Hayward Road around 2:30 p.m.
Officers say Hinton did not stop at the intersection and continued onto Lake Hayward Road where she collided with another vehicle.
According to police, Hinton was transported to Marlborough Clinic where she later passed away.
Both the 52-year-old driver and the 42-year-old passenger in the other vehicle were possibly injured and were transported to Backus Hospital.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
