US Airways to Expand DC to CT Service

The airline said on Tuesday that it will be expanding service, beginning March 25.

US Airways is adding a "daily nonstop frequency" from Reagan National Airport to Bradley Airport. 

The airline said on Tuesday that it will be expanding service, beginning March 25.

"We are excited to expand our service to customers traveling to and from our nation's capital as well as increase jobs at Washington National Airport," US Airways Chairman and CEO Doug Parker said. 

The airline is also adding nonstop, daily flights to Birmingham, Alabama; Fayetteville, North Carolina; Islip, New York; Little Rock, Ark.; Jacksonville, N.C.; Pensacola, Florida; Tallahassee, Florida and Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, which currently have no existing service from Reagan National.

At New York's LaGuardia Airport, US Airways will operate a reduced schedule over current levels, but will continue to operate its hourly shuttle service to Washington and Boston.
