A local burger joint is celebrating ten years with a bang.
B Restaurants, formally known at Plan B Burger Bar, is celebrating its ten year anniversary on Wednesday, July 13 by throwing a party for the community. The location at 138 Park Road in West Hartford will offer free mini burgers from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The founders, Al Gamble and Shawn Skehan, will attend and lead a celebratory bourbon toast.
“I can't say whether we’re most proud that we’ve been able to maintain the original quality and vibe or that we’ve been able to create jobs for over 600 people, I'm just so grateful that we’ve had the opportunity,” says CEO and Founder Al Gamble in a press release.
All Connecticut and Massachusetts locations will also be offering a retro menu with original items like Apple Pie Pizza, Wellington Bites, and the Ultimate Cheeseburger, and retro pricing with cocktails and beer at $2 or $3.
The original b Restaurants location on Park Road opened on July 13, 2006 and has been a local staple ever since. For more information visit their website.
