A person has died after being hit by a vehicle in Cromwell Thursday night.
The crash occurred on Route 372/Berlin Road, not far from I-91 and in the area of a Lowe’s and a Quality Inn, around 8:30 p.m.
Police said 31-year-old Jesse Bartlett, of New Britain, was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene. The driver of the involved vehicle was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police have yet to provide any additional information about the crash and what might have led to it.

Officers from various nearby departments, including Rocky Hill and Berlin, were spotted at the scene.
