Bridgeport Man Accused of Selling Drivers' Licenses

A Bridgeport man state police consider to be the primary middleman in a  Department of Motor Vehicles bribery scheme has been arrested.

Angel Cabrera, 38, was charged with forgery, bribery and witness tampering.
He collected cash from people who wanted to get drivers licenses without taking the state written exam and driving test, police said.

In October, Juan Casiano, an agent in the DMV's Norwalk office, was arrested for accepting bribes in exchange for forging state driver's licenses. He's facing racketeering, forgery and bribery charges. Two other suspects have also been charged.
