A doe ran into a school bus on Route 31 near South River Road, in Coventry on Thursday morning and shattered a window.
Four of the 30 students on board were taken to a hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries.
One deer ran into the road and the bus driver swerved to avoid it, police said, but another deer ran into the side of the bus and shattered the window.
