A single-engine plane that had been registered in to Skylark Flight Training LLC in Connecticut has crashed at the Murfreesboro airport in Tennessee, injuring the pilot.
WSMV-TV reports that LifeFlight was called to the scene on Thursday morning and the victim was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. It was unclear how serious the pilot's injures were.
WSMV identified the pilot as Randall Ray, 49, and he suffered a broken leg.
The Hartford Courant reports that the plane was registered to Skylark, based in Broad Brook, until September but now belongs to Murfreesboro airport in Tennessee.
The Cessna 172 hit a hangar after it ran off a runway, according to reports.
