An elderly driver struck a state trooper on Interstate 95 and continued driving in New Haven, state police said.
Police said the crash happened near exit 44 in New Haven around 11 p.m.
A witness followed the driver and was able to stop the vehicle, police said.
The crash does not appear to be serious, but there are no word on any injuries.
