Fore More Sign On To Travelers

A who's who of golf (minus the notable, Tiger) will hit the TPC at River Highlands in Cromwell in mid-June.

Sergio Garcia, Vijay Singh, Anthony Kim and Stuart Appleby confirmed their attendance over the weekend.  Kenny Perry, Chad Campbell, defending champ Stewart Cink, Hunter Mahan (who won in 2007), Sean O'Hair and Nick Watney have already announced they will play.

Cink was promoting the tourney Monday and told reporters he's not sure all PGA players get the importance of competing in tournaments like the Travelers.  And that they should support corporations that make a commitment to the tour. 

Travelers agreed to put its umbrella over the event through 2014. 

The tourney runs from June 22-28 in Cromwell, CT, just after the U.S. Open.
