New Haven police are investigating after a man was shot on Orchard Street Thursday.
Police said the 27-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting between Dickerman and Goffe streets around 8:30 p.m.
The victim remains in critical condition as of Thursday night, police said.
