One person is dead and two others, including a child, are hurt after a crash on Route 70 in Cheshire Friday, according to Cheshire Police.
Police said the two cars collided on Waterbury Road, Route 70, between Winslow and Marion roads. Both drivers were seriously hurt and one died at the hospital.
The other driver's injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.
A child that was in a car seat in the back of one vehicle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for the investigation into the crash but has since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
