The swimming area at Squantz Pond in New Fairfield has reopened.
It was closed Wednesday because of poor water quality and the water was retested.
State Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection officials said the swim area at Mashamoquet Brook State Park in Pomfret remains closed for maintenance and is expected to be closed for the entire 2021 season.
The rest of the state parks in Connecticut remain open.
