New Haven Police said the SWAT team conducted an operation Thursday night.
At about 6:30 p.m., the New Haven Police SWAT team assisted the Investigative Services Division in trying to find a wanted person for an out-of-state agency.
The investigation led officials to two separate residences, one on Greenwich Avenue and the other on Westminster Street, according to police.
Authorities weren't able to find the wanted person in either search.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation and there is no immediately danger to the public.
No additional information was immediately available.
