A construction worker was taken to the hospital after falling into a five-foot pit at a construction site near Yale's campus.
He was conscious, but disoriented and taken for medical treatment as a precaution.
Officials earlier called the incident an industrial accident and said the employee was working in a basement on Canal Street when it happened.
