When TLC announced it was canceling the reality series "Kate Plus 8," star Kate Gosselin made no bones about the fact that she was, to quote a People magazine interview, "freaking out. Big time" over the news.
She then added, "I've never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don't know what's next. I'm really scared."
Well, now her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, is speaking out in an attempt to bring Kate back down to earth for their good of their brood.

"Reality television is not a career," Gosselin tells Kate, via an interview with RumorFix.com. "Get back to a normal life — a simple life. Provide for your family.”
He goes on to say that he's adjusted to life beyond the cameras just fine.
“I go to work every day and provide for my family,” he says. “I spend time with my kids – spend time on the weekends. I spend time with the girlfriend I’ve had for over a year now. And enjoy a normal lifestyle.”
