Rita Rudner is known for her comedy chops, but nobody knew what a compelling real estate agent she could be. In a 4.5-minute video, Rita takes us through her five-bedroom, five-bathroom Dana Beach mansion, which she is selling for $8,975,000, after a $1 million price chop.
The oceanfront home, part of the gated Monarch Bay community, has heated floors, an elevator, professional grade appliances in a gourmet kitchen, an art glass door entry, electric solar shades, a private rear patio with in-ground spa and barbecue, and oversized Zen master tub, a media room, and two fireplaces. That's it.
At both the front and rear or the property, there are retractable glass doors that disappear into the walls, merging the outside with the inside. The community offers a private beach club offering beachfront dining with St. Regis Hotel butler service on the sand.

But none of that, really, is pointed out in Rudner's video. Her highlights include:
"The living room, where we do roughly 33.5 percent of our living. Some nights my husband and I stare into the fireplace, drink, and argue."
"This table is 100 percent table, and we eat on it almost every morning."
"In the warming drawer, you can keep your food warm while you're cooking. But don't limit yourself to food, you can warm just about anything including brassieres and your jewelry."
"This patio is so private that Kate Middleton sunbathed naked right here and nobody took a picture."
