An East Haven woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in New Haven on Monday night, police said.
According to police, the 30-year-old woman was struck around 9:40 p.m. in the area of 243 Chapel Street. She was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
She suffered a severe leg break and head trauma, among other injuries, authorities said.
Police are still investigating and are not releasing any additional information at this time.
