West Haven police are investigating after a dead body was found in a burning car on the Boston Post Road Saturday night.
According to authorities, firefighters responded to 855 Boston Post Road for a car fire. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered a dead body inside the car.
On Sunday police said it appeared the victim died of self-inflicted injuries.
No other information was made immediately available.
